The “kunstschule rostock“ has been working in cooperation with public schools intensively for more than 15 years now. Creative activity wants to be seen as an integrated activity which combines the three essential levels: thinking, feeling and acting. We benefit from the artistic access in overall classes because of its creativity promoting possibilities. We want to improve the quality of the learning process as a whole and raise the effectiveness of the contents of the classes
Examples: Mathematics and art: construction of geometric bodies, ruptures in music, proportions as a mathematical disruption, mathematical poetry, perspective
Physics and art: construction of kinetic artistic objects, optical phenomenon
German and art: a book as a unit of text and illustration, advertisement
Geography and history: every aspect of old or foreign cultures in the sensual experience of cultural artefacts, artistic techniques etc.
